Exactly one month after final assembly, this aircraft was handed over to representatives of the Czechoslovak Air Force on February 4 , 1972. After initial service with the 4th slp at Pardubice, this aircraft served with the 5th and 9th slp. In May 1991, the aircraft was reassigned to the 11th slp, based at Zatec.
