This is an adaptation of the RNLAF F-16A block 15 J-058 from 311 sqn "Aquila" (eagle). painted in a special scheme in commemoration of the 45th anniversary of the squadron (may 1996) it also features fuel tanks with the dutch airforce motto at the time "air power". This livery is a recreation of the Spitfire Mk.IX MK732 in use by the SKLHV for display and memorial purposes. MK732 was built at Castle Bromwich in early 1944 and was initially delivered to the RNZAF and afterwards transferred to the RNAF where it was used in combat until the end of the war. After making around 30 F-16 skins I needed a change of scenery, and wanted to do a Fictional Dutch Air force A-10 skin, and therefor chose to make an F-16..livery for the A-10 :) The 'Testgroup F-16' is not a squadron in the real sense of the word.
