A fictitious Royal Canadian Air Force B-17G named "BigGuns", for obvious reasons. Nice Nose Art, lotsa kill markings, and some bombing FU to boot.

Serial number 44-83514, affectionately known as 'Buxom Babe' is a B-17G formerly operated by the Osean Air Force during the Osean War of the 1940s. She was initially accepted into service in June of 1944 with the 944th Bombardment Squadron, before being transferred into the 20th Bombardment Squadron 'Raiders', assigned to the Northern front against Belka. Buxom Babe would fly in 75 combat missions, along with 3 photo Reconnaissance missions before the end of the war.

Following the end of the Conflict, the B-17 would be remanded to a boneyard in west Harwood, Osea, until being purchased in 1952 for firebombing duties. In 1976, she would retire a second time, and come into possession of the Commemorative Air Force, who would restore her and turn the aging bomber into a "Living History exhibit. Ever since, Buxom Babe has toured across the country at airshows and public outreach events to teach younger generations about a war long past.

B-17G-35-BO 42-32024 "Swamp Fire"

This is a submission for the B-17G Livery Competition. It includes two skins, one a detailed 'Louie the Creep' and one plain and without the distinguishing markings of 'Louie the Creep" as specified in the competition. Speculars are used but I will change to roughmets if the developers decide to upgrade the B-17 to PBR. The detailed skin depicts Serial number 42-97976, a B-17G-40-VE, code letter D, nicknamed "Louie the Creep". The plane completed 27 combat missions with the 709th Bombardment Squadron of the 447th Bombardment Group at this point and would be renamed "Bit O' Lace" for the remainder of it's combat missions which totaled 83 by the end of the war in Europe.

It includes two skins, one a detailed 'Wee Willie' and one plain and without the distinguishing markings of 'Wee Willie" as specified in the competition. Speculars are used but I will change to roughmets if the developers decide to upgrade the B-17 to PBR. The detailed skin depicts Serial number 42-31333, a B-17G-15-BO, code: LG-W, nicknamed "Wee Willie". The plane completed 128 combat missions with the 322nd Bombardment Squadron of the 91st Bombardment Group.
