In making Operation Roadkill, I realised that there's no simple way to make it all work. Especially when you have lost air superiority (something which is very possible in my mission), you don't want to be struggling to find frequencies in the air.

So I've made a couple of kneeboard pages to assist pilots in quickly adjusting when plans need to change.

If you have any feedback, drop a comment and I'll make adjustments.

>Abkhazia - Fight a high intensity war that escalates as you start hitting back.
>South Ossetia - Low intensity / Counter Insurgency operations.
>Fly your favourite module- they're all there.
>Road bases include TACAN, ADF, TILS (for Viggen) and three flares to guide you in. Yep, you can operate from these bases even in IFR conditions.
>Rearm, refuel and repair before heading back out to fight again.

Road-bases are now in the Falklands! Fly a low-tech training mission where you can control the challenges, while mastering your road-base skills. Requires the A-4E Community mod but otherwise runs on a clean install.

I'll be expanding this as I go- for now, enjoy and would love your feedback!

GUERILLA WARFARE FROM THE SKIES!

When the enemy shreds your runways, how will you carry on the fight? From road-bases of course! Just about every module is included. Works great with a couple of mates.

The mission runs stock- no mods needed. No scripting either.

GENERAL ALERT: One of our frigates has been hit and severely damaged by a Silkworm missile fired from Qeshm Island! Assemble a strike force and wipe out all of the launchers!

OPTION 1: Fly as part of a large US/AUS package (F/A-18, AV-8B and A-4)
OPTION 2: Fly as part of the smaller French/Swedish package (AJS-37 and Mirage 2000)
OPTION 3: Fend off either package as a part of the Iranian Air force (MiG-21, F-5 and eventually the F-14).

BLUEFOR packages must stay low to avoid early detection. Once detected, Iran will scramble everything it has to defend the islands. Qehsm Island has layered defences- good luck!

TASK: Intercept/Training
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Ground-Controlled Interception, Command and Control, Flight Coordination and ARC/RSBN navigation.
SITUATION: You and your brothers are tasked with defending the Caucasus approach from unauthorised interdiction. The mission starts Safe (that is, with no enemy units active), though you can trigger a series of missions through the F10 comms menu.

MODULES: AV-8B "Harrier II" and F/A-18C "Hornet" TASK: Strike and Escort
LEARNING OUTCOMES: In-Flight Refueling, Long-range Maritime Navigation, Flight Coordination and Carrier Ops.
SITUATION: Harriers are tasked with striking a warship undergoing dry-dock repairs in the port of Tuapse. Hornets will escort. This is a long flight with in-flight refueling being necessary for success. The final run in will be a wave-top level, coming in high will trigger a response. Get in, get out, destroy that ship.
