A fun set of challenges for WW II aircraft to test your flying skills.
• Version 1.1 - Moved landing zone immediately past the last gate at the airfield, to prevent the "fail" message from appearing after a successful mission.
This package includes two versions of two different low altitude routes through the Caucasus Mountains.
Missions 1 and 3 are two different low altitude paths through the mountain range defined by the use of helper gates. The goal of these two missions is to simply pass through all of the gates (only once) and make a landing at the destination airfield. Much of these routes are fairly simple, but some sections have tight turns, steep dives, or ascents that require both rudder coordination and speed management.
Missions 2 and 4 are the same routes as 1 and 3 respectively, but this time there are anti-aircraft encampments in the villages along the pass. The goal of these two missions is to not only pass through all of the gates (only once), but to take out as many encampments as you can along the way, and to stay alive. This is not so difficult in mission 2, but the city at the end of the mission 4 route includes a "gauntlet" of encampments in the city. The gates are not difficult to navigate, but you'll have to bob and weave your way through these city gates if you want to survive.
This is hopefully just a fun diversion from the normal DCS missions. Please let me know how you like it and if you experience any issues.
