Don't let this pesky Shilka get to you while you're targeting that Buk.

21 April 2021
- Arleigh Burke's HARM code fixed (thanks, AstonMartinDBS).

15 April 2021
- Airborne units: table reworked as per user's request.
- Naval units: threat designators and CVN ranges updated (Sea Sparrows have been fixed in the 2.7 patch).
- Naval units: CVN-75 Harry S. Truman added (not fully implemented in DCS yet).

07 April 2021
- Added early warning radars. Numerous small fixes.

23 March 2021
- Added radar codes for the Pre-Briefed mode of the HARM missile.

This kneeboard page includes the comprehensive (or so I believe) list of all airborne, ground and naval threats currently detectable by the Hornet's RWR. All information comes from my own research and file digging, and has been cross-checked against several other sources.

The range data for ground and naval units has been measured manually, using the F/A-18C on a simple test range (flat terrain, sunny day, "excellent" AI, ECM off) in the Open Beta Obviously, under different circumstances your mileage may wary, but hopefully not by much.

This kneeboard can be used with the F-16 as well. The ranges and symbology will be somewhat different, but the threat designators and HARM codes are identical.

Note 1: The launch ranges and altitudes mean just that: the maximum distance and altitude at which the SAM will launch at you. It doesn't necessarily mean that the missile would be able to actually reach you that far AND high (although most of them will).

Note 2: While most of the data is revised after the each patch, the ranges are NOT revised unless reported or suspected wrong.

Extract the downloaded archive, then copy the "FA-18C_hornet" folder into your "Saved Games\DCS (or DCS.openbeta)\KNEEBOARD\" directory. You may need to create the "KNEEBOARD" folder if it doesn't exist.

This Kneeboard Suite is designed as a three-part package. You can complement it with two additional downloads:
