Fun Persian gulf mission with a variety of targets to attack, airfields to capture, and enemy fighters to destroy. Requires one of F/A 18 / F16 bl.50 / Mig 21 / A10-C / F14 / Av8B / F5. Supercarrier not required.
Recommended for multiplayer but it would be possible to do it solo. Download and copy all files to C:\Users\(your user)\Saved Games\DCS\Missions\Campaigns\.
New updates with fixes will come regularly.

Upd ate v1.6: Mainly bug fixes and minor improvements to the mission
Update v1.5: Added more enemy planes that 're-spawn' on death. AWACS call-sign changed so you know which one you are radioing. First se t of enemy fighters spawned now don't come and chase you immediately on T/O.
Update v1.4: SAM targets named and coordinates become unavailable once destroyed. Enemy bombers now attack carrier groups if not destroyed. Oil rigs now show link with SAM / EWR units. Enemy bomber escorts now have medium-range A/A missiles and engage at a further distance. Minor bug fixes.
Update v1.3: Minor bug fixes
Update v1.2: Added radio transmissions and ability to fortify airfields.
Update v1.1: Planes should disengage if you leave the airspace around Qeshm. Also, change to F10 menu.

This is my first time playing around with the Mission Editor and with Lua scripting. Most of the mission was created by me thinking 'is this possible? Can I do it?'.
