87-0173 was painted for the Mountain home 50th Aniversery, While being painted she had a tail art and a eagle on the nose, When the 389th EFS "THUNDERBOLTS" depolyed to the middel east, 87-0173 was striped of her tail art but kept the eagle on the nose, they painted kill marks under the USAF logo and added CHECKMATE to the eagle on top. During the 389th EFS "Thunderbolts" 2020 depolyment to the middel east, they painted and named sereval of their jets. 88-1699 was named "ASHBRINGER" and painted a Dragon out of Vinyl. with 3 kill marks. In 2021 the 389th Fighter squadron "Thunderbolts" based out of Mountian home air force base, Idaho. were depolyed to the middel east, on their Operation they painted mutiple jets, 87-0202 was one of the jets painted Named "Double Deuce" There were plans to make sure a nose art featuring cards & dice, but was never painted only name plate and kill marks were done on her.
