In the middle of the night, under a full moon, you're called on to put down insurgents who have pinned down several troops in a residential area. The insurgents came up with some heavy armor and the scene is getting bad. The rescue chopper is now being kept away and you need to get out there and put down this uprising so your troops can get out via a chopper rescue. Launch from the Stennis and land back on it by the light of the moon. Requires CBU99 and AGM65-F Maverick use.

The enemy has stolen an F/A18 for reverse engineering and your mission is to get it back. After you take it back, you will fly a path of destruction through valleys trying to get out to sea and to the Stennis waiting for you offshore. The mission will require you to avoid ground to air fire and to defend against Migs hot on your tail. Includes voiced instructions and mission updates from your Pilot Assistance Computer.

It looks like a sudden strike mission will be necessary to take out four facilities. They are of course being protected by a massive defense of AAA and SAM units and think they are safe. Intel has found a back door. You'll never make it to the target site if you try to fly straight in the front. So you must stay under radar as much as possible and get into the hen house through the only opening, like a fox.

Once into the target area, you will use rockets on low altitude runs, weaving around the mountains. The mission is a success when you destroy the four factories, defend against bandits, and get back to the Stennis. You will be assisted by four other aircraft. Base command will keep you updated along the way. An intermediate skill player may be successful 8 of 10 times.
