F-16C AMI Italy Air Force 1991 Desert Storm - Operazione Locusta (Fictional)

Livery ricreation of old desert skin used on the Tornado during 1991 Desert Storm - Operazione Locusta.

Updated (Feb 13): Fixed a problem with AUTO bombing mode; modified escort behaviour; additional minor tweaks.
Updated (Jan 11): Reverted back to period-appropriate ordinance (CCIP bombing no longer an issue. See Comments for details.); some minor tweaks.
Updated (Nov 9): Added PP Mode for JDAMs, voice overs, kneeboard pages and a whole lot of minor tweaks.

This mission is a recreation of a sortie that was ordered on the first day of Desert Storm (Jan 17, 1991).


Note: Geographically, Iran has been substituted for Iraq.

4 F-18s were tasked with bombing the H3 airbase in western Iraq. They were accompanied by 6 F-15s and a Hawkeye early warning aircraft. The number and types of aircraft on both sides, and the order of events are accurately represented but everything else (weather, distance/altitude, weapons, etc.) is my best estimate.

Playtime: 1 hr.

Mise à jour avec ajout des réservoirs couleur désert et quelques ajustements sur le fuselage. Modification du numéro d'identification sur le nez et ajout du numéro de dérive.
