The Talibans have established a strong base by the lake south of our FARP Perth. Our intelligens shows that the base is very well defended by various ground units and perhaps Main Battle Tanks. The lake is surrounded by enemy SAM systems.
Your task is to neutralize as many Taliban ground units as possible. Make sure the base is safe for our armored ground units.

The mission will be different every time you play thanks to some random elements.

Main Objective: Destroy the 5 IL-76MD aircraft at Rota International Airport with the AH-64D Apache.
Secondary Objective: Destroy the 2 Mi-8MTV2 helicopters that landed on Anatahan Island.
Saipan Optional Objective: Destroy the 7 IL-76MD aircraft at Saipan International Airport.

You can use AH-64D, Mi-24P, AV-8B, F/A-18C, F-14B, F-14A, F-16C so your friends can join in too.
The planes can complete the main, secondary and optional objective.

Main mission objective can be completed single player / solo with the AH-64D Apache.
Main mission objective can be completed in multiplayer multi-crew with a single AH-64D Apache.
Main mission objective can be completed in multiplayer with 4 players in multiple AH-64D Apache helicopters.

- NOTE - This is a quickly built mission to get you into the action right away and for me to test rapid mission making.
- There are two missions in the zip file.  They are both the same except one is daytime and one is nighttime.  Once you are in any of the missions, you can use the radio menu, F10 option to switch to the other time of day.

Yesterday morning, Russian forces initiated a full-scale invasion of Georgia.  This unprovoked and evil attack consisted of major armoured thrusts from 3 different directions, plus airborne and helicopter assaults at various locations throughout the country.

NATO and US forces are responding to the area, with the first in country US Army asset is a platoon of AH-64D Apache helicopters.  They have set up base at a FARP to the west of Tbilisi, and are gearing up for operations in the AO.
