Ace Combat inspired skin for the F/A-18C

Despite its more well known role as a carrier based strike fighter, ISAF Air Force used the F/A-18C Hornets it received through various Osean and Verusean countries to great effect launching fr om makeshift airfields in the Usean countryside as quick to launch air defense fighters.
One unit assigned these brand new Hornets was the 92nd Fighter Squadron 'Atalanta'. Made of primarily foreign volunteers, The 92nd would participate in the 'Southern Sweep' operations conducted by ISAF late in the war. Initially conducting Combat Air Patrols, The 92nd would take on self escorted bombing missions by the time that ISAF retook Istas Fortress.
The 92nd would end the war in Southern Erusea, and remain at McKnight Air Base until the disestablishment of ISAF in 2007. Following the establishment of The IUN-PKF, the 92nd would be transferred without men or aircraft to the Bulgurderestian Air Force wh ere it would become an F-15E squadron.
The Atalanta's Hornets would be transferred to Ugalles to bolster their air forces and the pilots and ground crews would be released from their employment contracts with ISAF, Many returning to their homes or other conflict locations in the world.
