To say Col. Jasek was a skilled fighter pilot would be an understatement. Originally flying as a mercenary for an Osean Based private military company, he would gain valuable combat experience during multiple conflicts throughout the 1980s and 1990s, most notably his participation in the 1995 Belkan War as part of Ustio's mercenary division. Following the end of the Belkan War, Jasek would resign fr om mercenary work and continue to fly for Ustio, wh ere his experience and skills were put to work aiding in training and leading the next generation of U.A.F pilots.

The post-war years wouldn't yield as much excitement for him, spending the rest of the 1990s assisting with training at Ustio Air Force Flight Academy. In March of 2001, upon his request Jasek was approved for a posting as a squadron leader, taking command of the 19th Tactical Fighter Squadron of the 2nd Air Division. The next decade would see Jasek doing everything fr om border patrols to joint exercises with allied nations and even an airshow or two. By 2011 he would be promoted to lieutenant colonel and a new posting as Division commander. In 2014 he would receive his next promotion to Colonel and a new posting as The Ustio Air Force's attache to the Osean Air Force.

The following years of desk work would begin to weigh heavy on Jasek, though his posting wasn't a bad one, he yearned for an opportunity to return to the sky. Following the 2014 Free Erusea uprising more nations began sending peacekeepers to aid Usea. In late 2017 The Ustian government, wishing to further establish itself on the world stage vowed to send its own volunteer force as part of the IUN peacekeeping efforts. Upon hearing of this Col. Jesek Leaped at the opportunity, seeing it as his final chance to get a combat command before he became too old. Originally he was denied but a few of his friends in High Command were able to pull some strings and get him on. By May of 2018, 58-year-old Col. Jasek would take his place as commander of the Ustio Peacekeeping Squadron as they prepared to depart to Usea.

Col. Jasek and his unit arrived on the Usean continent in June of 2018 and were deployed primarily at Soria International Airport in the city of Los Canas, located in what was left of the Federation of Central Usea. The unit would immediately be put to work, aiding local FCU and IUN forces with combat patrols along DMZs and aid corridors throughout the rest of the year. As the new year started, Jasek and his unit would continue to focus on their peacekeeping mission until March of 2019 when they were due to rotate back home. However, with tensions rising in the area around the International Space Elevator, Jasek and his unit's departure would be delayed for a few months until additional forces could be brought in, not that he was complaining as the longer he stayed the more air time he got.

On May 15th, 2019, The Kingdom of Erusea declared war on the Osean Federation and began launching simultaneous attacks on both Osean and IUN forces across the continent. The former mercenary was immediately thrown back in his element, scoring several kills on the first day alone while defending peacekeeping forces. Though he and his unit put up staunch resistance, they were forced to retreat from Los Canas when the city fell to the Erusean Army on the 17th. Jasek and the rest of the Ustian peacekeepers were redeployed to the city of Baekje around the Seals Bridge area in southern Usea. To his dismay, the Ustian government bared the Ustian peacekeepers from taking part in any offensive actions and instead assigned them to areas behind the front line in defensive rolls to relieve Osean units and allowing them to be sent to the front.

Besides a few intercept attempts the area around Seal bridge quickly quieted down over the next few months as the front line moved farther and farther west. By September, with the Osean military preparing to launch a final offensive on the Erusean capitol the end of the war was seemingly in the site. Col. Jasek knew that meant he would be returning home soon, though he was happy to have flown in combat at least one last time and knew he would probably be back at a desk posting for the next few years before retiring. Unfortunately, the situation would deteriorate rapidly when on September 19, 2019, following the fall of the Erusean capitol both sides deployed anti-satellite weaponry causing a massive debris field in orbit, crippling Communications all over the continent. Cut off and isolated from High Command and his respective government, Jasek and the rest of the Ustian peacekeepers could only fall in with local Osean units and hunker down as the rest of Usea fell into chaos.

The next few weeks for the 7th TFS and the local IUN forces were tense with no communications from home or High command and with supplies dwindling, Jasek and the rest of his unit could only sit and wait for communications to be restored. On the morning of October 31, 2019, a message was sent out on the partially-restored general network urging all remaining forces to converge on the Space Elevator with the goal of destroying the Arsenal Bird and finally bring about an end to the conflict. Having sat on the sidelines for most of the conflict and with no communications or orders from his Country, Col. Jasek decided to take the initiative and act. Gathering what pilots and aircraft he could, he would lead his squadron west towards the Space Elevator. Upon arriving the Ustian pilots would immediately jump into The Fray, assisting friendly Osean and Erusea forces in clearing the air space around the Elevator.

After the arrival of the Arsenal Bird and the failed saturation attack, Jasek and his unit were then attacked by the Arsenal Bird's drones, managing to down several before taking a hit from an air-to-air missile. Though damaged he was able to disengage from the battle and made an emergency landing at Selatapura's main airport, wh ere fr om the end of the runway he had a perfect view of the Arsenal Bird as it fell from the sky. After being picked up by friendly Erusean forces Jasek would assist in securing the main airport while he waited for additional IUN forces to arrive following the destruction of the Z.O.E drones. By November the 9th he had regrouped with the rest of his Unit and with full Communications back up by the end of the month the Ustian peacekeepers were finally able to contact and secure transport home. After arriving back home Col. Jasek was originally going to be reprimanded for defying previous orders of not taking offense of actions, though, after receiving public praise from the Osean Government and the IUN for his unit's assistance in the fight, the reprimand was quickly and quietly swept under the rug.

As he predicted he was taken off flight duties for the final time, though the old mercenary still in his heart was satisfied for having taken part in one last good fight. The next couple of years would be spent back at his old post as the attache to the Osean Air Force. In 2028 he would receive his final promotion to Brigadier General shortly before retiring at age 68, setting up residence at a small ranch outside Bozdar Ustio wh ere he resides to this day.
