“See - Decide - Attack - Reverse”
These words are written above the doorway leading into the Naval Air Combat Weapons School, colloquially known as Fighter Weapons School,by the students and cadre who attend. Students come to NAS Mesa Verde four times a year and spend eight weeks being taught by some of the best tactics instructors in the Emmerian Military. Pilots learn both in the classroom and in the cockpit how to counter the various threats that the Emmerian military may face in the near and far future, and will go back to their own squadrons as in house instructors to teach the skills they have honed.
VFC-21 Blackjacks is one of the squadrons assigned to NAS Mesa Verde filling the more modern aggressor role. Pilots are able to mimic most of the more advanced fighters Estovakia, Yuktobania and Osea are able to field with their F-16 “Fighting Falcons” and F/A-18C “Hornets”. The pilots of the Headhunters are some of the most diverse in the military, Including Belkans, and Estovakians filling out their ranks. The Blackjacks are arguably one of the most lethal the school has to offer - thankfully they are only able to carry the Simunitions.
