This mod works with DCS World 2.5.6, from version 2.5.6.50321 up to 2.5.6.61527.3 (the final release of 2.5.6, before 2.7).
This is a modification to slightly improve performance with little to none image quality loss, and no issues with slow loading of missions.
It works with regular screen monitors, and also with VR.
This mod is also IC compliant for Multiplayer (no issues whatsoever in Online MP, if using DCS 2.5.6).
PLEASE NOTE: this mod will NOT work with the newer versions of DCS (2.7, 2.8 or 2.9).
------ INSTALLATION ------
This mod overwrites original files found in the main game folder (same paths and structure as you see in the mod).
Therefore, for the installation, a mod manager (such as OvGME) is strongly recommended.
Mainly because it's the easiest and quickest (non fussy) way to revert things back at any time, for whatever reasons.
