Clear Metashaders2, FXO, Terrain Metacache, and DCS Temp Folders. Clear Tracks Folders. Update DCS via Stable or Openbeta (switch branches). Auto Update DCS Stable or Openbeta. Pick Auto Update Sound (“Yay!” music).

Hello and welcome to DCS-Update Witching Utility. DCS-UwU provides several functions that will prepare your DCS install for a DCS update. Many people swear by these practices. Many do not use them at all. Both with various results. That is why I find the name of the utility quite appropriate. This is not an “everyday” utility. It is meant to be used sparingly, only when you need it. Happy Witching!!! Note: This program has functions that deletes files. It has been tested on multiple systems to keep accidental occurrences to a minimum, aka, zero. If you are not willing to assume that risk or are not comfortable with that, do not use DCS-UwU!
