I enjoy creating unusual missions that are somewhat realistic. In this mission, you are piloting a classic warbird, a P-47D over Nevada, trying to get to Laughlin for a refueling stop, then on to the next airshow. Unfortunately, there's some trouble in the air and you end up lost. Now you must find your way without the aid of a compass. Can you regain your bearings and make it to Laughlin before running out of fuel? Good luck!

This mission is not a shoot em up. Instead, you're trying to navigate to Laughlin following a lightning strike, without the aid of your compass or radio. The bad news is, the mission starts in the air, in predawn darkness. The good news is, the sun rises in a short time, and you will be able to navigate by it. It is also extremely pretty. Expect the weather to change a bit as you fly. I hope you find this mission fun. It is one of the most simple ones I've built, but I think it is well made. Note: it is difficult to land in the poor weather, but it can be done!

CHANGELOG: 6.9.20 - Version 1.1 - A message trigger was firing early. The trigger is fixed so it fires on time. Blue Task updated with note to recommend not flying too fast, and to conserve fuel. Flying too fast can make the mission more difficult and even cause you to run out of fuel.
