Profile tested with DCS World 2.5; driver Thrustmaster 2007_HCO_Vista_64_RC1; Foxy 4.2

Cougar Mode:
After downloading the Profile into the Cougar memory, make sure that on the Cougar Control Panel the mode "Button & Axis emulation" is ON (green).

Where to put the Files:
Put the four files of this Profile, on the folder  Program Files (x86)\HOTAS\Files.

This Profile is designed to be used along with Headtracking. It has no buttons setup for view control.

Rudder Pedals
Since I dont have Rudder pedals, I've designed this profile so that the ANT rotary can be assigned as Rudder, since it's easy to control using your thumb. Assign the Axis on Option-Controls within DCS.

Special Functions of this Profile:

1) The "Dog Fight" button is used for controlling the Flaps Lever.

2) Press simultaneously the buttons S3, S4 and the Trigger (TG2) of the Joystick, during half a second, to initiate the Bailout sequence.

3) The Cougar has a dual contact trigger (TG1 and TG2), this Profile uses the second contact to  fire the machine guns.

4) The throtle's Microstick, is used for controlling the two dials of the Gunsight: The Range Dial and (when shifted with S3) the Wingspan dial.

5) The RNG rotary can be used as RPM control, Assign the Axis on Option-Controls within DCS. However, its T6 button is used to maximize the view zoom.

Needed Bindings:

As the P-47 does not include keyboard bindings for all its functions, you must define the following bindings on the Controls page of DCS:

Mixture AUTO LEAN = RWIN + M
Mixture AUTO RICH = RSHF + M
Mixture FULL RICH = RCTL + M

Landing Flaps NEUTRAL = RSHF + F
Landing Flaps RETRACT = RALT + F
Landing Flaps EXTEND = RCTL + F

Tail Wheel Lock FREE = LCTL + T
Tail Wheel Lock LOCKED = LSHF + T

Intercooler Shutter CLOSE = LCTL + I
Intercooler Shutter OPEN = LSHF + I

Oil Shutter CLOSE = LCTL + O
Oil Shutter OPEN = LSHF + O

Instrument UV Left Light DECREASE = RCTL + 1
Instrument UV Left Light INCREASE = RCTL + 2
Instrument UV Right Light DECREASE = RCTL + 3
Instrument UV Right Light INCREASE = RCTL + 4

Radio Volume DECREASE = RCTL + R
Radio Volume INCREASE = RSHF + R

Carburetor Air Heat DECREASE = RCTL + C
Carburetor Air Heat INCREASE = RSHF + C

Left Wing Bomb Arming Switch Cover CLOSE = LALT 3
Left Wing Bomb Arming Switch Cover OPEN = LALT 4
Left Wing Bomb Arming OFF = LALT + 6
Left Wing Bomb Arming ON = LALT + 7

Right Wing Bomb Arming Switch Cover CLOSE = LSHF 3
Right Wing Bomb Arming Switch Cover OPEN = LSHF 4
Right Wing Bomb Arming OFF = LSHF + 1
Right Wing Bomb Arming ON = LSHF + 2

Belly Bomb Arming Switch Cover CLOSE = LCTL 8
Belly Bomb Arming Switch Cover OPEN = LCTL 9
Belly Bomb Arming OFF = LCTL + 6
Belly Bomb Arming ON = LCTL + 7

You also need to define the following Snapviews:
KP4 = Snapview of the Left Console
KP2 = Snapview of the Instrument Panel
KP8 = Snapview of the Gunsight
KP6 = Snapview of the right Console

Also, on your head tracking software, define:
Headtracking ON-OFF = RCTL + F9
