A flexible MS Word based HOTAS template for the TMWH along with a PDF version for the early access F/A-18C.
Thank you for your interest in my controls template that I made for the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS.
Since the recent early access release of the F/A-18C, I spent a few hours putting this together with flexibility in mind, knowing that I would need to make changes as new features of the Hornet are released/fixed or as my preferences change. While a few PDF templates already exist for the TM HOTAS, I found them difficult to work with when needing customization and deiced to put in the time to build this one using MS Word, which I think is much easier to edit.
This was constructed taking common stick and throttle diagrams found online, importing them into MS Word 365, where I added Textboxes and Shapes to provide a convenient and flexible way to label all your controls to suit your custom needs.
Included is the template, (FA-18C TMWH HOTAS Template x.x.docx) along with a PDF example of my current configuration that I am using for the early access F/A-18C (FA-18C TMWH HOTAS Template 1.0.pdf).
I am open to suggestions for any final design elements, (e.g. background images, borders, additional label placements, ect.) but feel free to enjoy and edit as is!
