Hailing from Shiloh, the capital of the Osean State of Kenton, the “10 of Spades'' Squadron is one of the few Mirage F-1 operators left within the Air Defense Force. Despite its advanced age and overall limitations, the 110th Fighter Squadron proved that the F1 was still an effective fighter during the defense of Shiloh in the opening minutes of the Lighthouse War.

As Erusean MQ-99 drones attacked the city and its infrastructure, two Mirage F1s launched and intercepted the CUAVs, and in using their superior climb and speed advantages, were able to down the Erusean aircraft using slash attacks against the smaller subsonic aircraft.

Despite initial successes, the Squadron would remain in Shiloh during the remainder of the conflict, though their successes have positioned them to receive the F-35A in 2030 with the full retirement of the Mirage F1.

I made this quick mission because lately I've been training on the Mirage F1. It's a real flyable mission but the main goal is to train in air-to-air after scrambling your Mirage F1EE off the ground at Kobuleti to intercept unknown aircraft. The beauty of it is that you may encounter Mig-21s, Mig-29s, SU-25s, L-39s, SU-24s or whatever the Russians send your way (I randomized it in the editor). You have an AWACS and your radar to help you find the bandits, with 2 S530F SARH missiles, 2 R550 IR Magic 2s, as well as your guns to shoot down the menace and come back to Kobuleti.

Allows the usage of Super 530D missiles on pylons 5 and 3, Magic II missiles on pylons 7 and 1, unrestricted centerline R530 usage (ability to mount an R530 on pylon 4 along when you have missiles on pylons 5 and 3), PHIMAT and BARAX pods on pylons 6 and 2, CATM-9Ms and TCTS pods on pylons 7 and 1, permits the usage of the 580 gal centerline tank, and GBU-27 on pylons 5 and 3. Also permits unsymmetrical loadouts with all wing mounted weapons.
