VMFA-251, the Thunderbolts, deployed on the supercarrier Abraham Lincoln has been tasked with destroying targets in the vicinity of 3 airports on the Black Sea coast. You will fly 2 sorties today targeting ammunition dumps, a command center, airport defences and fuel storage facilities at Sukhumi-Babushara airport.

The USS Spruance, located near the carrier group will launch a simultaneous cruise missile attack on targets at Sukhumi, Gudauta and Sochi airports

You can fly 2 sorties in any order:

Pontiac 1 - JDAM GBU 31(V)3/B bunker busters
Hardened ammunition dumps, airport ammunition depot and command center (4 targets)

Pontiac 2 - JSOW AGM-154A (submunition payload)
Fuel facilities, airport defences and aircraft stands (6 targets)

In this mission you can practice using a variety of A/G weapons against 1 or more spawned SAM sites of your choosing. Four loadouts to choose from: 4 X HARMs, 8 X JDAMs, 8 X JSOWs or 4 X IR MAVs or create your own loadout in the mission editor.  

REDFOR SAM sites are selected via the comms/other menu and will spawn in 1 of 6 random zones in the vicinity of Beslan airport. When spawned, threat envelope information for the spawned SAM unit will display in the upper right corner of the screen.

This mission uses a MOOSE SEAD evasion script. If a HARM attack is detected SAM radars may turn off, attempt to shoot down the HARM and mobile SAM units may relocate to avoid the attack. SAM units have random skill levels.

Fly a deep strike into enemy territory. Drop your 5 GBU-31V3/Bs and get out of there! SEAD and CAP support available upon request from the F10 radio option. Coordinates are uploaded into the flight computer already, you can use that or assign coordinates outside of that if you wish. The fuel weight of the aircraft is reduced to compensate for the heavy ordinance. You can modify that if you wish, it may help avoid aerial refueling. Otherwise, you'll need to RV with the tanker at STPT 2 to refuel, and then ingress at low level. Good luck!

This mission is designed to test your ability to deploy multiple JDAMs in one pass in a pre-planned strike. Your mission is to destroy five MIG-27 aircraft in hardened shelters at the southeast end of an airfield located at waypoint 2. While there is no SAM threat, you will encounter heavy radar-guided anti-aircraft fire (57mm and 100mm) over the target. Further complicating the strike, a pair of Russian MIG-23 Floggers defending the base. You will likely encounter them during your approach, so marshal your wingman appropriately. You will be carrying five GBU-31 2000lb GPS guided bombs to be used on the hardened shelters at waypoint 2, along with an AN/AAQ-14 LANTIRN targeting pod and four AIM-120 AMRAAMs. It is recommended that you attack from medium altitude (15,000 feet or higher). This should provide adequate run-in for an accurate JDAM delivery and minimize your exposure to the AAA threat over the target. Once your weapons are expended, proceed back to base.

Lead a massive coalition attack against Abu Musa island in a show of force. You will be striking a Silkworm battery and remain on station in case any SCUD missiles come out. Supporting you will be flights of Vipers, Hornets, Mirages, BUFFs and Bones. Happy hunting!

Fly a low level strike against a SAM defended target. Your aircraft is armed with JDAM's to give it a change to gets weapons on target while flying close to enemy ground forces. Destroy the target and get back to base safely.

This mission is a strike package tasked with destroying an insurgent chemical weapons factory that has been set up with State powered help. There will be SEAD and CAP support. Your mission is to bomb the two main factories with your GBU-31s. Perform a cold start, get in the air and push as briefed. Good luck!
