In anticipation of the Kola Map release, I'm re-learning the Viggen, after many years of having it on the hangar ... not because of any problems with it, but because so many other interesting aircrafts have appeared for DCS, which I wanted to learn.

As part of this re-learning process, I edited a few training missions for this aircraft, as this forces me to learn the aircraft in more detail than just flying on it, and I want to share them here. As soon as Kola arrives, I will edit a 2nd version of each, to be flown on the new map, in the meantime they are set at Nevada because I'm truly tired of Caucasus and Marianas is a bit too small, and also because I really like Nevada.

I have already finished a small set of these missions, and want to share them here and add more as I go on finishing them.

While Razbam's new F-15E cames with some excellent training missions by Baltic Dragon, I still felt that this complex Module could benefit fr om having a few more. I tried not to replicate the existing ones and rather cover missing subjects, with the exception of the Cold Start, Taxi & Take-Off as I believe that the default missions for these subjects leaved out many details.

I know most Training missions employ the free Maps of DCS, but frankly they are a bit unrealistic for the Strike Eagle and so I opted to use the Nevada map, I'm sorry if some users don't have it yet.

Most of my Missions employ the vanilla DCS, with the exception of the Gun Strafing mission, wh ere I employ the target Range Mod created by 476th VFG, I wish ED adopted some of their objects, but for now this Mod is the only alternative that I have. It is an easy to install Mod that doesn't break Multiplayer IC and its compatible with DCS 2.9 ... you can get it here:

After the recent release of the upd ated Gazelle, I started to re-learn it after many years of having her on my virtual hangar. I tried first the built-in training but found the cold start mission really basic and incomplete, so rather than complain about it I se t to edit my own and take the oportunity to also learn the Gazelle's basic systems in detail.

I made three versions of the mission: one for Sinai, another for South Atlantic and a third for the free Map of Marianas. They are identical and only differ on some little details. I added them to the existing training menu, and this means that the files go onto the DCS program folder. If you are uneasy about this, you can manually save the files at /Saved Games/ to run as standard missions instead of using the DCS Training Menu.

Training Missions for the A-29B User Mod

This is a set of training missions that I have edited for version 5.2 of the excellent A-29B Mod aircraft created by Luiz. These missions cover basic training and also weapons employment.

To install, uncompress the file at /saved games/dcs.openbeta/ or /saved games/dcs world/

The weapons training missions make use of the excellent 476th VFG Weapons Range Mod, you will need it installed if you want to fly those missions, you can get it here:

The weapons training missions also make use of the great Range Script created by the user @Ciribob, which which is embedded on the missions and so don't need a separate download or install. L-39

L-39 Training Missions with English Voiceovers.

I added english voiceovers to the standard training missions that ED provides for the L-39, in addition to the russian voices that it has by default. Even tough these voices are computer generated, they are very clear and understandable, and much better than my own broken english.

Inspired by the work of @Highwayman-Ed, who did the same for the first training mission but couldn't find the time to do the rest. I took the liberty to keep his nice mission pic, as the default mission illustration.

The zip file already has the proper file structure, just uncompress on the folder where you have installed DCS, usually it's at C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\

Training Missions for the JAS 39C Gripen aircraft Mod

These are a set of nine training missions that I did earlier year for the Gripen JAS 39C aircraft Mod. I offered them to its developers, intended for them to be distributed along with the Mod.

However, as the Mod's next version is taking longer than expected, the Mod developers agreed to let me release them separately, so that they can be used by new users of this great aircraft Mod.

These missions are meant for the A/G version of the Mod, so that it does not require you to own the F-15 of DCS. The non-weapon missions can still be used by the A/A version.

Also, I set the missions on the Marianas Map, in spite of it having less performance than Caucasus, simply because I'm bone-tired of editing missions for the old Map, please bear it with me.

I also added a Gripen entry for the DCS Encyclopedia, not related to the missions, just wanted the Mod to feel more complete.
