There are many like it but this one is mine, a live on screen (or hidden) unit/model specific mission cost calculator with log export function, display options, and user customizable on-board actual unit/sub model and cost database.
Works on ground, air, naval, static assets, and tracks all weapons other than small arms and cannons like the M61.
V1.2: Currency selection via lua edit, or in game via radio menu is now included, and ground units are tracking like they should, oops. Link to download V1.2 added to description and updated file to latest version, thanks!!
Would love if you gave me links to where I can find databases with DCS/Mod unit names that aren't already included in the script. Duplicates are fine I can filter those out. Comment here or on Github if you have a source, thanks!
readme and pdf with screenshots is included along with the Lua file within the zip. If you want to keep track and send me unit names that show up during your missions as 0 dollars, I can add them to the database and future script versions! Any and all feedback welcome!
The attempt here is to have a cost calculator that doesn't sweep with a broad brush. Example: Aim120B vs AIM120C is calculated instead of simply A2A Missile. I am not sure how others determine costs such as the one the Grim Reapers use.
Easily add unit/weapon names and values, or adjust my estimates to whatever you want within the script! Has a visual chart comparing Blue to Red costs!
I have added hundreds of units after looking up all the existing resources I could, and have been adding in mod units/weapons including from Current Hill as I come across them in missions.
Currently in 2026 inflation adjusted USD as default, you can change this via radio menu.
Customize your viewing preferences, export, turn on/off in game via radio menu.
