Since 1974 Cyprus is divided between Cyprus pro-Turkish population to the north and Cyprus pro-Greek population to the south. June 2004,Pro-Turkish forces are trying to circle Nicosia with surprised light columms attack. Their hope is to capture the city and win lot more territorial possessions. Cyprus shoppers will certainly try to attack these columns in the suburbs of Nicosia. They are equiped with Mi-35P Hind and SA-342 Gazelle. 134.Filo equiped with F-5E-3 Tiger is ready to support massively North-Cyprus attack. A Greek Mirage 2000C squadron is deployed on Paphos airbase and will be the main threat.
Welcome to a new campaign version using the Dynamic Campaign Engine (DCE) created by Mbot and modified by Miguel21.
This version is different from previous campaigns: it is an attempt to be able to simulate the movement of combat units on the ground while maintaining "static" type targets of DCS to avoid overloading missions. It relies on scripts and templates. Unfortunately, it is very likely that this trial will not be transformed because this system was deemed far too heavy for the campaign creator to manage and in my opinion it will remain unique.
Unlike the old campaigns everything is scripted and even if the player remains free to do what he wants on the ground, the evolution of the troops on the ground will be done over the missions except of course in case of decisive actions of the player on these.
In this campaign MP play can involve F-5E-3 Tiger and UH-1H Huey from the start.
