Hello everyone, you will find a StreamDeck XL profile for the KA-50 II & III version, compatible with DCS BIOS.
To make it work you will need multiple things:
- DCS BIOS:
https://dcs-bios.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html
- A DCS plugin for the Streamdeck :
https://github.com/toureiffel/streamdeck-dcs
- DCS-ExportsScripts :
https://github.com/asherao/DCS-ExportScripts
- streamdeck-dcs-interface:
https://github.com/enertial/streamdeck-dcs-interface
There's a very good video explaining how to install these two additional plugins: youtu.be/RPKnp6PJU7U
I'll summarize:
FIRST STEP:
Install: github.com/asherao/DCS-ExportScripts
Add to ./SavedGames/DCS.openbeta/Scripts/Export.lua the code for the Export.lua file downloaded from DCS-ExportScript
copy DCS-ExportScript folder into ./SavedGames/DCS.openbeta/Scripts folder
modify the Config.lua file in the folder you've just copied ONLY if you're using ELGATO STREAM DECK
ExportScript.Config.IkarusPort = 1625
By
ExportScript.Config.IkarusPort = 1725
SECOND STEP
Install :
GitHub - enertial/streamdeck-dcs-interface: A StreamDeck plugin for interaction with Digital Combat Simulator (DCS)
After that, go back to your elgato software, click on a button and an option should appear, click on ID Lookup and in the top bar change your DCS installation directory then click on update.
In order to make it work with black shark 3 you need to copy the KA-50.lua file in the ExportsModules folder after installing DCS-ExportsScripts inside ./SavedGames/DCS.openbeta/Scripts/DCS-ExportScript/ExportsModules and rename it exactly like this : KA-50_3 so you will have two files, KA-50 for the II version and KA-50_3 for the III version.
