This mod allows you to re-order the icons along the main menu screen, as well as remove them without affecting gameplay.
I'm a bit picky and wanted things to look clean, I've ordered mine with Helicopters first, then Red aircraft, then Blue in an order that makes sense to me; You can do the same now too.
Integrity Check passes (tested on growling sidewinder server)
NOTE: It changes the main menu screen, it does not prevent a module fr om operating behind the scenes (e.g. I've hidden terrains but they still work). In contrast if you were to remove terrains from pluginsEnabled.lua it would actually stop working as well.
To install in the main-game folder:
1. Backup your existing plPanel.lua file - it may be needed after updates to the menu.
2. Replace your DCS World OpenBeta\MissionEditor\modules\plPanel.lua file with the one provided. If you're installing manually, don't copy any folders just copy the file (the folders are for JSGME mod manager)
3. Look at the entries in the plPanel.lua wh ere all the lines "InsertOneItem(" are. Re-order the modules as you like and add any other modules you wish; see the readme for more details.
It is recommended to use JSGME or other mod manager, because updates will most likely overwrite these changes.
Note this must go in the main game folder NOT saved games, I've tried but it doesn't work in saved games.
