YOUR MISSION: OPERATION BATTLE FOR BEIRUT was a success. Militia forces have mostly been driven out of the city. However, there remains a contingent of mechanized armor in the mountain valleys which needs to be eliminated.

During operation BATTLE FOR BEIRUT, the Lebonese President, Michel Aoun, was captured by militia forces in an assault on this vehicle convoy. Several of his security team were killed and he was taken alone. At this time, his whereabouts is unknown however it is suspected that he is being held hostage outside the country. Agents are currently working with officials in the region to determine his location. There have been no ransom demands or groups claiming responsibility but U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, who is now leading this operation stands firm that they will not negotiate with terrorists.
To make matters worse, Russian involvement has been confirmed as several SU-27s and MiG-29s were shot down during OPERATION BATTLE FOR BEIRUT and salvage from these aircraft show markings of the Russian Air Force. Nevertheless, Russian President, Vladimir Putin, continues to deny involvement claiming this is “fake news” and planted evidence from the West. Also adding that the U.S. has no business meddling with affairs in the region threatening that “...the world would know if Russia was involved”.
