This mission will involve the carpet bombing of an industrial infrastructure by seven B52's and then the specific and precise destruction of three chemical plants by you. Intel has confirmed that three of sixteen chemical plants within the industrial complex are actually manufacturing illegal substances. The industrial complex is an entire small residential community with manufacturing in the middle of the desert. To avoid collateral damage, the mission requires a delicate operation after the bombers carpet bomb the industrial complexes outside the city. That delicate touch falls to you.
There is multiple actions coordinated during this mission, but you're charged with carefully destroying the three manufacturing plants that will be identified, real-time for you, when you arrive on location. The locals, helping with the operation, will not be using lazing equipment because of operation restrictions stemming from logistics and a few CIA agents on location calling the shots. (Handshake code word = "Night Star") Instead, they will illuminate the ground targets one at a time to identify and confirm them for your authorized destruction. The locals will be using commando stealth tactics to infiltrate and shut down each factory just prior to you dropping your ordnance. If one of these factories is still online when destroyed, an ecological disaster might result. Therefore, after the B52's destroy their targets, you will be instructed on cue to destroy the three specifically identified factories one at a time. Because this is a surprise, there should be no defenses on location. But you can expect patrolling Migs to head your way as soon as you launch from the Stennis and get over land. This should be an easy operation for you and your wingman. The only strange thing about this mission for you, is that you will be left behind to land in a secret mobile makeshift airstrip, set up by the Marines and the CIA in the middle of the desert. The reason why? It's considered not relevant to your mission. Very odd, but interesting? (and a silly challenge) The use of your night vision is almost a necessity, but it can be done without it.
