Based on the dcs Smerch Hunt Mission, this mission is modified to include JTAC special forces units, with laser designation for four targets, namely multiple launch rocket systems. Plus AFAC Predator designation for AAA/SAM threats. When flown in the Mirage or the Viggen, the Lat/Long coordinates may be verified or entered into the ins. The mission has an increasing level of difficulty as you progress towards target number 4. Enemy SAM/AAA include SA18/SA8/SA13. These are randomly generated to enable the Fog of War and vary the result each time! Enemy air is operating and AWACs is available. Additional assets are available via radio calls. On call SEAD, on call CAP and on call reserve CAS are all available if required. Use of both Green VHF and Aux UHF radios is required. Channels are pre set and fully listed in the briefing. Fly as lead of a two ship Mirage 2000C flight to eliminate four Multiple Launch Rocket Systems. Each target has laser designation from JTAC Special Forces units in contact. Enemy AAA/SAM operating as Shilka/SA18/SA8/SA13. Enemy air operating to the north west, as Mig 29s. Friendly assets include on call CAP, on call SEAD and on call reserve CAS. These are called via radio, if you require them.
