This is the John McCain A-4E Skyhawk (149959) he was flying when he was shot down over Vietnam in 1967. It is from the U.S. Navy attack squadron VA-163 Saints. Only difference from the original is the "LCDR JOHN McCAIN" name tag added under the cockpit to denote his final rank in the Navy. RIP John and fly on. I decided to modify the default VFA-37 livery to make it look a bit less worn out and I also added a bit of extra detail to the pilot model, including patches for the squadron. The 5th picture is a comparison with the original livery. I have kept the airframe quite generic to begin with however I may add on airframe specific details in the future. Installation is the same as most liveries (instructions included in readme) Skin Any language DCS: World 2.5 F/A-18C Hornet Freeware - ...

In the summer of 2020 the Iranians have set afloat a mock-up of a U.S. Aircraft Carrier and will today be having a live-fire training/demonstration exercise by attacking it in the Strait of Hormuz.  Several of their aircraft will participate, with a large audience watching from the sea and the shore. Two real US carrier groups are in the region and have decided to take a closer look, and will most likely intervene for the sake of amusement. Single mission modeled from a news article about a ...

FLELOGSUPRON FIVE FIVE - The Minutemen are stationed out of Point Mugu Naval Air Station. There are 2 variations of paint schemes associated with this Squadron, one is 1980's (ish) and the other is 2014's. The Grey/White paint scheme was made by me more for the Community A-4E Mod, once we have the ability to refuel (hopefully soon). The Grey-Blue paint scheme is more of the current style. I didn't make the in-between paint since it is already in the game... At some point they were ...
