Vietnam - 1975 - First operational deployment of the F-14 Tomcat

F-14s escorting a strike group of A-4 Skyhawks.
*** UPDATE ***
Minor improvement changes to the mission.
Also, A-4s cannot land on the carrier...they break.
*** NOTE ***

This is a FICTIONAL scenario. The F-14B was NOT in Vietnam. It was the A model.

The F-14A DID fly CAP during the evacuation...
Douglas A-4E-C Skyhawk VMA-131 CAG BuNo 160024, MCAS Yuma, June 1994
This paintscheme is based to the "double nuts" BuNo 160024 at last VMA-131 deployment, MCAS Yuma.
Full of details, was quite funny to reproduce. Unfortunately I wasn't able to paint some details from canopy fram, like pilot name and a little "Eagle" stencil.
This skin is complete of:
New fuel tanks texture and his roughmet
Improvement of the weathering layer.
