As per request by hstheins. The Mig-15bis has an old, slow spooling jet engine, handles like a brick at low speeds and becomes quite unruly when exceeding a certain speed. Oh and it has the lightest of ordnance loads as well. BUT...apart from the twin 23's it has one BIG ole can opener of a cannon. Now I've tested all missions and they ARE do-able. My first Outremer campaign - now upd ated for the THIRD time. And all current Outremer campaigns have the exact same mission setups. So no quarter is given, no tinkering with the enemies and goals to "help" a certain aircraft type. This campaign will be a good measuring tool to use, YOU will get to decide what aircraft suits your needs best. Surprisingly good perfomance fromt the F-5E in Outremer. Massive amount of BOOM you can deliver, especially when considering what a small critter this really is. And it's a LOT more stable and easier to fly than the Mig-21. But it's still oldschool and you can call your self a PILOT if you can manage this campaign with it. Use Winrar to unpack the files. The Mig-21 actually works pretty well for this line of work. But only if you fly it like you stole it. Yeah, when in doubt - go full afterburner! No but really, you gotta learn how to handle it properly in tight valleys. Perhaps not stare at the instruments all the the time but develop a feel for flying it instead. On request by one of my viewers on Youtube. I didn't think the regular Su-25 would differ much from the freebie T-model but oh was I WRONG! This aircraft is WAY better in the handling department and it's got the nicest oldschool analogue cockpit as well. This campaign is specifically made for those who are interested in what DCS has to offer. For no money whatsoever. YES, the sim itself is free and the Su-25T is one of two aircraft included for free (the other one being a civilian Mustang). Now some might say the Su-25T isn't "kewl" or "rad" enough.
