Have you ever wondered what it's like to fight the Viper, to utilise all its weapons and systems, to fly as a productive front-line wingman?
Welcome to the F-16C Fangs Out Campaign, taking you through some of the missions real life trainees fly as part of the B-Course. Here you will learn how to fly and fight the Viper, in a variety of mission sets, including BFM, ACM, BVR and A-G missions.
The F-16 B-Course is designed to make the student proficient in all aspects of F-16 manoeuvring (ACM), Tactical Intercepts, Basic Surface Attack (BSA), Surface Attack Tactics (SAT), Close Air Support (CAS) and an introduction to missionised Air-to-Air and Suppressed of Enemy Air Defence (SEAD). You'll be expected to practice the same discipline and contract adherence you learned in the IFF course, except now, you'll have a vast array of new systems and weapons to master, in a much more powerful and manoeuvrable aircraft.

Release: 04/29/2026

While you have flown as lead in IFF, in the B Course, you'll fly the majority of the course as wingman. After arrival and induction, there lies ahead several weeks of academics and testing (simulated by the documents included). The F-16 B Course BFM is very similar to IFF. You'll fly offensive and defensive 1v1 sorties. You'll pull high G and operate the avionics, radar and weapons systems whilst doing so. It will be challenging, but immense fun! After completing BFM, you'll graduate to 2 ship element with your instructor, against an adversary aircraft, in ACM. You'll now have to concern yourself with fighting as a team, detecting threats and not hitting your lead! Using these concepts, you'l progress into the BVR arena, which includes, Tactical Intercepts and 2v1 and 2v2 BVR engagements.

After all of this, you'll move onto the Air-to-Ground portion of the training, transitioning to BSA. This is your chance to demonstrate the techniques you learned in IFF, but now with live dumb weapons. Graduating onto some of the more exotic weapons as you progress, you'll be employing PGMs and HARMs in the latter stages of this phase. Having mastered basic weapon deliveries and profiles, you'll get to apply these in a CAS scenario, working with a FAC(A) or JTAC, in a night scenario.

You'll culminate all this training, with a check ride from the Squadron OC, or chief IP. This will determine if we send you off to the front line, or whether you would benefit from revisiting some of the topics.
Good luck, work hard, but play hard too!!
