Explore the chronicle of the Syrian War in the OUTPOST campaign series.
This part concludes the story of "Grunts in the Sky" - the 74th and 163rd Fighter Squadrons within CJTF-OIR - delivering even more thrilling moments featuring Mark "Rattler" Barnes and Steven "Bomber" Rovinsky.

Within the complex geopolitical landscape, Syria has become a strategic outpost for both Russia and the United States. Beyond serving as a central battlefield in the fight against terrorism, it now stands as a focal point of great power competition - where each actor pursues strategic objectives and influences global dynamics.

Captains Matthew "CASINO" Woodson and Mark "Rattler" Barnes were selected to represent the 23rd Wing (part of Air Combat Command, USAF) at the legendary war games hosted by the Naval War College (NWC) in Newport. The Red Coalition comprises two forces: the Syrian Government Army and a reactive, nuclear-armed adversary simulating the Russian Army. U.S. patrols clashed with Red Coalition forces near Deir ez-Zor, inflicting heavy casualties on both sides. Incirlik Air Base came under missile attack from Red forces. Intelligence indicates the enemy is regrouping for strikes on U.S. and allied bases across Syria and Iraq. The 74th FS deploys to Amman, Jordan's capital, with your unit tasked to push toward Damascus.
Deployments originate from bases: King Abdullah II, Muwafaq Salti, Prince Hassan, and Tel Nof Air Base. Combat intensifies over Damascus and Cyprus.

Stone Sky's attention to detail and precise mission design will exceed your expectations. The OUTPOST campaign series is crafted for seasoned pilots seeking historical realism and operational variety, while also supporting newcomers with scalable difficulty and integrated guidance.
