F-14A GR-90 Tomcat, BuNo 159855 of VF-126 “Bandits”, more commonly known as “Red 31 ‘Tomcatsky’”.

The final installment of my TOPGUN Scooters effort - for now.  The jet famously shown in "Top Gun" flown by "Jester" and "Viper" in various scenes - depicted as it flew operationally with NFWS through the mid-late 80s based on available photo references.  

The second installment of my TOPGUN Scooters pack - my effort to recreate various adversary A-4Es, A-4Fs, and A-4Ms flown at the school from the mid 80's to the mid 90s.  Eyeing more jets to do from VF-126 and VFC-13 in the future, if there are any you would like to see please let me know!  BuNos included in the pack listed below:

TOPGUN Scooters, a pack representing various A-4s flown at the school from the mid 80s to the mid 90s prior to relocating to Fallon.  Really enjoyed working on these - perhaps some NFWS F-5s and more Scooters on the way!  BuNos included in the pack listed below:

BuNo. 163269 began life as a F-16N Block 30B.  It's original serial number was 85-1370 before being delivered to the US Navy.  The aircraft was then designated as a F-16N and provided aggressor support for the US Navy Fighter Weapon School fr om 1987-1994.  The aircraft was referred to as "The Lizard" by pilots and ground crew of NFWS.  After the Navy retired the jet it was moved to the San Diego AeroSpace Museum Field Annex located at Gillespie Field near San Diego where it is currently on display.  Ironically, it is sat beside the F-14 that was used for filming Top Gun Maverick.  Depicted here is how the Aircraft appeared near the end of it's service life, just prior to delivery to the SDAMF facility.

The fuel tank template is not mine, however I do not know the original creator to give them appropriate credit.
