For my very first livery in DCS, I wanted a Rafale M inspired livery for the F/A-18C for the French faction.
So there it is !

Skin based on the paint of the 14.F Flotille  from the French Navy during Suez crisis in 1956.
For "Mousquetaire operation", french Corsairs were painted with black and yellow recognition stripes on the wings and fuselage.

As per request by hstheins. The Mig-15bis has an old, slow spooling jet engine, handles like a brick at low speeds and becomes quite unruly when exceeding a certain speed. Oh and it has the lightest of ordnance loads as well. BUT...apart from the twin 23's it has one BIG ole can opener of a cannon. Now I've tested all missions and they ARE do-able. My first Outremer campaign - now upd ated for the THIRD time. And all current Outremer campaigns have the exact same mission setups. So no quarter is given, no tinkering with the enemies and goals to "help" a certain aircraft type. This campaign will be a good measuring tool to use, YOU will get to decide what aircraft suits your needs best. In a shady campaign se t in some never heard of backwater, far from the usual Tom Clancy blah blah. YES, this is full-on macho, oldschool flying. Danger is doubled and you're never gonna get the upper hand. You will ALWAYS be outnumbered and outgunned. But if you can stomach such conditions, you WILL have fun. NEW GUYS TAKE NOTE: If you're new to the Sabre or DCS, you WILL learn flying this old bird in Outremer. You begin at the deep end right away - but all you need is the right attitude. You will understand once you get strapped in. DIFFICULTY: Tough guy legit

Surprisingly good perfomance fromt the F-5E in Outremer. Massive amount of BOOM you can deliver, especially when considering what a small critter this really is. And it's a LOT more stable and easier to fly than the Mig-21. But it's still oldschool and you can call your self a PILOT if you can manage this campaign with it. Use Winrar to unpack the files. The Mig-21 actually works pretty well for this line of work. But only if you fly it like you stole it. Yeah, when in doubt - go full afterburner! No but really, you gotta learn how to handle it properly in tight valleys. Perhaps not stare at the instruments all the the time but develop a feel for flying it instead. Tight turns are best kept above 450kph, just remember that. And you need Winrar to unpack the files! DIFFICULTY: Tough guy legit

On request by one of my viewers on Youtube. I didn't think the regular Su-25 would differ much from the freebie T-model but oh was I WRONG!
This aircraft is WAY better in the handling department and it's got the nicest oldschool analogue cockpit as well. Yeah, no HUD to help you, you gotta watch them dials like in the bad old days :) I've only tried the first mission in this campaign so far but I can tell you - if you've flown the Su-25T campaign, then you MUST try this aircraft after that.
You won't regret it. Unpack the files with Winrar, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, strap in, takeoff, start blasting. DIFFICULTY: Regular tough guy

This campaign is specifically made for those who are interested in what DCS has to offer. For no money whatsoever. YES, the sim itself is free and the Su-25T is one of two aircraft included for free (the other one being a civilian Mustang). Now some might say the Su-25T isn't "kewl" or "rad" enough. Because it's one of the oldest DCS aircraft and because it's too easy in the handling or such. Well, I suppose it isn't much of a challenge if you only fly in fine weather, at mid-day and over a flat desert. In this campaign however, there's none of that. You will learn to cope with adversity AND learn to handle this brick...in the worst of conditions. If you manage to finish this campaign, you already have what it takes to fly any other aircraft in DCS. Trust me on that. DIFFICULTY: Beginner tough guy
