I Love Hind – The Wedding [fictional advanced single player mission]

It’s February 14th 1989, history will remember this day as the final day of the conflict between the Mujahadeen and the USSR/DRA, but for you, it is the morning of your wedding.

Your mission is simple, embark your brothers from your start location, and your bride’s brothers at the crossroads in the village near Sah Falad and then transport them to the wedding site in Bilchiragh.  It couldn’t be simpler, but there’s a catch, everybody aboard your Hind is wanted by the DRA and the valleys to the west and to the east are littered with SAM sites, to make matters worse the airfield in Maymana Zahiraddin Faryabi is still occupied by the USSR, if you attempt to fly above 4,500ft, you will be picked up on radar and a Mig-21 dispatched to intercept you.  You’ll be required to use terrain masking at all times and use local knowledge of mountain passes that will help you avoid being detected by radar.  The embarkation area is marked on the map along with the river valley that leads to Bilchiragh, once you are in this valley, you can consider yourself safe.
