You are a part of the 7-17 CAV out of Fort Cavazos, Texas. You have been deployed to Al Dhafra Air Base to provide aviation attack and reconnaissance support to 1-2 SBCT out of Joint Base Lewis–McChord. The United Arab Emirates has requested counter-terrorism assistance due to a high increase in religious extremism from a rogue military group in Iran calling themself The Pasargadae Protectors. Their motives seem to be that the Persian Gulf region is becoming too progressive, including the ruling Iranian government. The Iranian ruling party members are planning on visiting UAE on a diplomatic visit to try and improve their relationship with the Gulf as well as Western nations.
You are tasked with traveling to the RP (Release Point) where Shadow 1-2 and you will recon NAI 2 for terrorist activity. Shadow 2-1 and 2-2 will break off from the RP and recon NAI 3. A platoon from 1-14th CAV have already reached NAI 1 and have begun patrolling for terrorist activity. Command's call sign is Olympus.
