Royal Netherlands Airforce F-15E - 311 Squadron Dirty (Fictional)
The livery is based on the Royal Netherlands Air Force livery used by the 1950's Hawker Hunter, using a light grey at the bottom of the aircraft to mask the
aircraft from below and a dark green and dark grey on top of the aircraft to prevent the aircraft to be seen from above.
The Dutch 311 Squadron is used in the livery. 311SQN was founded in 1951 at Volkel Airbase in the Netherlands, flying the American Thunderjet.
After the Thunderjet the squadron transitioned to the Thunderstreak before acquiring the Starfighter. Since 1982 the squadron flew the F-16AM fighter jets in several
theatres, including over Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
The squadron emblem is an eagle diving down with fierce speed and determination. The squadron's motto is "Ut Aquila Praedans",
meaning 'Striking the target like an eagle'.
On the 8th of November 2012 the squadron was disbanded due to budget cuts in the Royal Netherlands Air Force.
Using this livery we can bring the squadron back to life with a great new DCS addition.
