Before leaving for France as part of Canada's NATO commitment, 430 Squadron was based in North Bay, Ontario.
Continuing my series of early 1 (F) Wing RCAF Sabre squadron art with those of the 2 (F) Wing squadrons (416, 421, 430). Semi-historical paint scheme of a Mk.2 aircraft (the Mk.2 Sabre was essentially a license-built F-86E) with the early plastic intake. Natural metal finish with early 430 squadron art on fuselage and 120 drop tanks.
