The watchful eye in the sky for the Seventh Carrier Air Wing, the Argonauts are critical in almost every mission the Vulture and her crew face.
Established in 1967, the Argonauts have flown in hundreds of operations, both in times of war and Civil strife. During the planet fall of Ulysses, the Argonauts were on station with hundreds of other AWACS and AEW aircraft using their powerful radar to track fragments entering the atmosphere.
VAW 110 was also instrumental in the capture of wanted Belkan Terrorist Pierre Boyd in 2003 for his actions following the 1995 Belkan War. Crew from the E-2 masqueraded as a F-14 from VF-12 “Knights”, buying them time to vector actual Tomcats from the OFS Vulture to intercept the Air Ixiom flight Boyd was on, Escorting them to a friendly airbase in Wielvakia.
Today the crews of the Argonauts keep watch in the skies over Usea, helping enforce the no-fly-zones following the 2019 Second Continental War.
