There are 15 possible missions that can be assigned to you by flight command (selected randomly).
In this mission you are a flight leader stationed at Maykop-Kanskaya airfield, tasked with defending the areas to the west. At mission start you can choose to fly alone or with one or two AI wingmen. Multiple real pilots can join in if desired. The default airfield has F16, FA-18 and AV-8B aircraft, but those be changed as desired using the mission editor.
After entering your aircraft, use the communication menu to request a mission briefing. One of the possible missions will be chosen at random and a briefing will be provided. After receiving your mission briefing, configure your aircraft as needed, then takeoff and complete your mission.
