Apache ZJ171 of 662 Squadron, 3 Regiment British Army Air Corps, based at Wattisham, England.

Please be kind as this is my first skin for DCS.
As the British have been (so far) under-represented with livery options for the Apache, I thought I'd rustle up this simple skin. It's admittedly non-descript like most Apaches flown by the British Army, but at least it's based on a real aircraft.
ZJ171 was the first WAH-64 Apache delivered to British Army at GKN Westland Helicopters at its Yeovil facility in 1999. It saw combat in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan in 2009 and 2011 as part of Operation Herrick. In 2013 it flew at Cosford Air Show, where it was crewed by Staff Sergeant Jamie Boakes (Pilot) and Captain Harry Wales (CP/G), better known as Prince Harry. Captain Wales spent 10 months on the front lines in Afghanistan in 2007/2008 .
