This is a missions to self-evaluate your knowledge of the DCS's F/A-18 module under normal and non-normal situations. There are 5 different scenarios where you have to manage a failure of a system and land safely.

Required: Nevada TTR Map

install: put the 6 ".miz" files in the same folder

how to play:
launch the F18_flt_ev_Start.miz mission,
1- you will be asked to choose a scenario numbered 1 to 5 using the numeric keyboard of the UFC.
2- as "oral" test you have to answer 5 random questions extracted from NATOPS manual (but with the answers available in DCS manual).
3- before start you have to verify that all the switches and CBs are in the correct position (thanks to gmangnall for the idea https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3319368/).

4- Flight: you are loaded with 500lbs training bombs and practice tracers, you have to hit the target at wpt.2, but during flight a malfunction will happen and you have to decide the course of action according to the severity of situation, weather, fuel, etc.
(As quick reference manual I suggest the use of the nice doc made by Cruizzzzer: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3318372/)
The F10 Menu will give you assistance options available by ATC, the briefing package and ATIS will give you info about airports operability.

Briefing:
Callsign: Ford 1
Dep Time 21/1400Z 0700L from Tonopah TR.
Training mission: hit target at wpt.2 in Area 76 with training 500lbs bombs and tracers
Fuel total: 8000lbs - BINGO fuel: not rqd

Notes:
-Instrument Approach at Nellis: use charts already available in DCS kneeboard.
-GCA approach at Creech: the controller will vector you 8~10 nm from runway threshold. On final approach, she will give you indications of your position related to the final approach nominal path (RWY centerline extension and glide path angle of 3°). Contrary of ILS bars, if the controller tells you "slightly right" you have to steer left to correct, or "well below" means that you are below the glidepath and have to decrease your rate of descent.
If your ground track is already toward the centerline she will say "correcting" or nothing, otherwise she will tell you a new heading to steer to correct. If you are on the centerline course she says "On course", then you have to steer the runway heading (260° in this case)
-ATC: try to follow ATC instructions as much as possible; of course I coudn't program a script that covers all the possible situations...
-Voices: I used the best I could find online for free, plus some sound files picked up from here:
