A British Royal Navy livery for Heatblur's USS Forrestal, depicting the carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth R01. Due to some inaccuracies pointed out to me, I have completely redone all three liveries and updated them to a new standard, and added in three new bonus liveries depicting them later in their lives.
This livery for Heatblur's Forrestal depicts the (Fictional) Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth R01, the first of three licensed-built Forrestal class carriers, first entering service in 1970. These were the product of a US/British cooperation in the late 60s to restore big-deck carrier capability for the Royal Navy. This livery depicts her as she was during her 1978 WestLant cruise during Exercise Knightfall with two other British carriers and four American carriers. She would go on to serve in the Falklands War, and later the Gulf War, serving valiantly in both conflicts. Queen Elizabeth would be decommissioned in the May of 2020, after 50 years of service. I have also included a Ca.1990s Lo-Vis deck scheme perhaps after a mid-life refit.
To Install: Locate the CoreMods F-14 livery folder where you would install F-14 liveries and create a new folder called "Forrestal" exactly as I have typed it and paste the contents of the zip within it.
