An EX GDR Hind used by the (West) German Erprobungsgeschwader, with a Desert livery based on some miniature model/concept sources.
This beautiful skin I made for the Hind is definitely my best skin yet. Its accurate, it looks good, it has nice mipmaps so it wont render poorly on greater distances and I feel like it blends perfectly into the environment of Syria or the deserts of the Persian Gulf.
I based the whole skin idea on a blueprint for miniature modeling (-> Screenshot). I thought it looked cool and also hasn't been really done, let alone it being a German skin after all (I do believe that this was a concept livery for the Hind when West Germany tested the Hinds capabilities during the German Reunification).
I also did quite some translation work for all of the small, nitty-gritty details. #420Gefahr #Wechelspannung
The EVU (Infrared-Suppressors that were added recently) are painted too, I just couldn't get ModelViewer to show them to me (and I did not want to fire up DCS for that xD).
