Dynamic Virtual Co-Pilot is a VoiceAttack profile that will call out YOUR OWN checklist items for any DCS vehicle or weapon system. Simply create a text file containing a list of checklist items, point the profile to that text file, and the Virtual Co-Pilot will audibly walk you through the checklist items when commanded.

UPDATE: Version 2.9 corrects a problem with the repeat function., Previously you could not repeat the first checklist item, and using the repeat function after that would cause checklist items to be skipped.

In the recent past I have created "static" Virtual Co-Pilots for various DCS aircraft. The only drawback with these profiles is that they only include a canned list of checks that I defined. If a user wants to modify the list, they have to modify the commands within the profile, which can be confusing. This new Virtual Co-Pilot is "Dynamic", in that it allows you to create a simple text file with your own checklist items. Once the profile knows where your checklist text file(s) are, the virtual co-pilot will operate the same as before, calling out each item.

There are two profiles included. One (Checklist Template.vap) will call out your first checklist item and wait for you to say “Check” before continuing to the next. The second (Continuous Checklist Template.vap) will call out all checklist items in sequence with a 3 second pause between each. The code can easily be modified to change the pause time.

Setup is simple, and instructions are provided in a PDF file. A short video showing setup and use can be seen here: https://youtu.be/_9i0EnDm4HA

** If you want to change the voice used, activate the profile in VoiceAttack then, click the 'Edit Profile' icon to view the code. In the code list you will see three separate lines that read, Say, '{TXT:~lineOutput}'. Double-click one of these lines to open the TTS dialog box. There you can use the "Voice" drop-down box provided to change voices. Do this for all three instances.
