I redid my old one from scratch to make a mostly black spitfire cockpit with the gauges redone to become much more readable. The V 1 still had green walls and all other colors removed. V 2 has black walls and some of the colors added back in and is much different.
It has to be installed using a mod manager like OVGME. Place the unzipped folder "Spitfire - Blacked v2" in your mod folder and toggle it on.

This cockpit currently uses default glass, if you want to add the clear canopy mod from the Storm of War discord then copy and paste all the lines from the clear canopy description.lua that are in between the 2 lines that only have a { or } into the blacked description.lua. Make sure the copied lines from the clear canopy description.lua fall in between the { and } lines in the blacked description.lua file. Order doesn't matter, but every line is special and needs to stay in a separate line.
After that just copy in the 2 image files from the clear canopy mod folder into the Spitfire - Blacked v 2.1 folder. You must toggle your mod off then on to refresh your changes.

I thought originally I was only making a dummy setup for the clear canopy mod, but turns out the description.lua lines I copied in delete default glass effects on their own. Instead I've removed all the dummy setup and instead wrote instructions on how to add it in yourself. DCS updates can break the clear canopy mod, so follow these instructions again to update it with new versions of clear canopies if needed.
