This is an air-to-ground mission with a dynamic air-to-air component. The primary mission is to destroy a radar site. The player must make a low level approach or risk a more dangerous enemy response. Enemy fighters will respond to the strike and attempt to engage the player. Enemy aircraft are generated from different sets and may approach from different directions and at different altitudes. The enemy has established a Krabbe radar site at Cape Gris-Nes near the town of Framezelle. From this location they have excellent visibility of allied air traffic over the English Channel. Intelligence suggests there are four antenna sets at this site.
The site is well defended with mixed AAA from 20mm to 88mm.
Weather conditions are mild and calm with scattered cloud cover.
MISSION: Destroy the Krabbe radar site established at Cape Gris-Nez. Approach at low level to minimize enemy reaction times. Intelligence recommends 500 feet or lower. Once you are inside of five miles pop-up and hit the targets. We are launching this strike in the evening so the sun is at your back as you approach.
We're giving you 10 HVAR rockets each. That site must be destroyed.
A Luftwaffe response is likely. Stay alert for enemy aircraft while over the target.
Once the strike is complete RTB before sunset.
Return to Lympne Field upon mission completion. You may divert to Hawkinge or Manston if necessary.

This is a ground attack mission with variable air-to-air engagements. Enemy AAA will be better prepared if the player fails to ingress at low altitude. The player may encounter enemy aircraft while in the target area. The enemy could come from different directions or altitudes so stay alert.
Note that destruction of enemy aircraft is not required for mission success. Your aircraft may not be in condition to dogfight after the ground attack!
