This is an air-to-ground mission with a dynamic air-to-air component. The primary mission is to locate and destroy a disabled E-Boat. The player will encounter enemy fighters or bombers at some point during the mission. Enemy aircraft are generated from many different sets and may approach at different times, from different directions, and at different altitudes. All threats are manageable - this is designed to be re-playable, not brutal. Total time to completion is approximately one hour or less.

22 0530 JUNE 1944

An enemy E-Boat has broken down E-Boat off Rye Harbor.
At approximately 0400 a Home Guard patrol captured a spy coming ashore in a rubber raft just east of Camber and south of Lydd. The spy confessed to being dropped off by a Schnellboot. Local land and sea units were mobilized to search the surrounding area.
At 0500 an RNLI lifeboat encountered an E-Boat adrift with apparent mechanical troubles not far off shore. The lifeboat barely escaped when the E-Boat opened fire. The E-Boat may still be adrift or fleeing back across the channel.
Last night's storms have moved through the area but the skies remain overcast and winds gusty. Watch for crosswinds on takeoff and landing.
MISSION: Chevy flight will locate and sink the E-boat. If you cannot locate the E-Boat off Rye Harbor search to the east and attempt to catch the boat heading home. They will make every effort to avoid being caught in the open at sunrise.
An enemy reaction is possible and the Luftwaffe may send fighters to provide the boat cover.
Upon completion of your mission, return to base. You may be called upon for follow-up tasks if you have fuel remaining.
